Information on the Protection of Personal Data

As IKONIVO Technology Corporation, we are aware that the private life and personal information of our valued users are extremely important. In this context, in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law, which regulates personal data in order to protect fundamental rights and freedoms, especially the privacy of private life, we would like to inform our valued users about the purposes for which personal data is processed by us, to whom and for what purposes the processed personal data can be transferred, the method and legal reason for collecting personal data, and your rights arising from the Law regarding your personal data.

Data Controller

“İKONİVO Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi” has the title of “Data Controller” as defined in Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Law.

How your personal data is collected

“Personal data” means information that relates to an identified natural person or to whom we have access or have access. Your personal data may be collected automatically or non-automatically, provided that it is part of our data recording system, when you visit and use our Site (www.ikonivo.com) and mobile applications (collectively, our “Site”), use our electronic commerce and services through our Site (“Our Services”), create an account, fill out a form on our Site, make changes to your account information, purchase goods and services, participate in dispute resolution, communicate with us regarding our Services, and participate in surveys.

Purposes of processing your personal data

Improving our Site and Services: To make our site easier to use and to improve our services, to develop strategies, business models and conduct market research,

To provide a personalized experience: To provide a “My Account” section on our site, to create a site content within the scope of your interests and likes by using your personal data that you have shared with us directly or by allowing the social media sites you are connected to to share with us, your shopping cart, information under headings such as “My Orders”, “My Address Information”, “My Favorite Products”, “Customer Support Section” in the My Account section, and information regarding your use of our site, and to provide you with a better and more personalized shopping experience by offering coupons, discounts, special promotions, campaigns, shopping ideas and marketing and advertising for related goods and services.

To ensure internet and transaction security, to prevent transactions that may involve fraudulent or illegal activities: To take the necessary precautions so that you can use our site safely, to ensure that you carry out your transactions, including payments, securely, to detect, prevent or investigate activities that constitute fraud or fraud, constitute a security breach or are suspicious or illegal,

To fulfill legal obligations: We collect, use and store data in accordance with applicable laws in order to comply with the provisions of applicable legal regulations that require data processing.

Transfer of your personal data

Your personal data may be shared with our business partners, service providers, financial institutions, legally authorized public institutions and organizations, law enforcement and judicial authorities in order to enable our Company to achieve the purposes set forth above. Such sharing is carried out in all cases and conditions in accordance with the personal data processing conditions stipulated in Article 8 titled “Transfer of personal data” and Article 9 titled “Transfer of personal data abroad” of the Personal Data Protection Law. In this context, your personal data is transferred only with your explicit consent or in the presence of another legal reason regulated in the Personal Data Protection Law and listed below. In addition, when your personal data is shared with the third parties specified in this article, it will be shared only to the extent necessary and within the scope of its relevance, and the necessary measures are taken by the third parties with whom it is shared to ensure that the data in question has the protection stipulated by the Law.

Legal reasons for processing your personal data (including cases where data is transferred)

We always process your personal data based on one of the legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the Personal Data Protection Law. The legal grounds we rely on in this context are:

Explicitly prescribed by law: In cases where your personal data is processed due to a provision in the law, this legal reason is relied upon. This reason forms the basis of our processing activities, which we carry out for the purpose of "fulfilling legal obligations" stated above.

Being necessary for the protection of life or physical integrity: This legal reason is relied upon in cases where consent cannot be disclosed due to practical impossibility or is deemed legally invalid, and in cases where processing of data is necessary to protect the life or physical integrity of the person concerned or someone else.

Fulfillment of a legal obligation: This legal reason is relied upon when the processing of your personal data is necessary for us to fulfill a legal obligation. This reason forms the basis of our processing activities, such as the above-mentioned “To meet the requests of the competent authorities”.

Being made public by the relevant person: This legal reason is relied upon in cases where you voluntarily share your personal data with the public.

Establishment, exercise or protection of a right: This legal reason is relied upon when the processing of your personal data is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right. This reason may form the basis of our processing activities in cases where the processing of your personal data is required for proof during litigation.

Performance of a contract: This legal reason is relied upon when the processing of your personal data is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract. This reason may form the basis for some or all of our processing activities, which are stated above, for the purposes of “Provision of services”, “Ensuring internet and transaction security, preventing transactions that may involve fraudulent or illegal activities” and “Communicating with you”.

It is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms: This legal reason is relied upon in cases where the processing of your personal data is necessary for the conduct of our commercial activities, but such processing does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. This reason may form the basis of some or all of our processing activities, which we carry out for the purposes of “Promotion and marketing”, “Improving our Site and Services”, “Providing personalized experience” and “Ensuring internet and transaction security, preventing transactions that may involve fraudulent or illegal activities” listed above.

Explicit consent: In cases where you have explicitly consented to the processing of your personal data, this legal reason is relied upon. In cases where none of the legal reasons listed above exist, we process your personal data only if you have given your explicit consent. In cases where you have given your explicit consent, you can withdraw your explicit consent at any time.

Your rights under Article 11 of the Law:

Regarding the data we collect, your data;

  • To find out whether it is processed or not,
  • Requesting information about your personal data if it is being processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
  • If it is shared with third parties at home or abroad, knowing who they are,
  • Request correction of any missing or incorrect processing,
  • Request the deletion or destruction of your processed data if the reasons requiring processing are eliminated,
  • If your data is deleted or corrected upon your request, request that the transactions be notified to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
  • To object to a result being produced against you in cases where the data is analyzed exclusively through automated systems,
  • If you suffer damage due to unlawful processing, you have the right to demand compensation for the damage.
